Podzilla 1985

So this week was extremely eventful in the nerd community.  There was so much news that Jesse had decide what not to talk about.  We got new movie trailers in Logan and Guardians of the Galaxy.  We got a whole bunch of new news on X-Men.  We got a teaser for Red Dead Redemption 2!  We got the full roster for Pokemon Sun and Moon!  And of course the biggest news of the week was the reveal of the Nintendo Switch.  All of this and more on this Giant Sized Nerd Up.

This week Seanán, Jesse, and Lindsey carry on the tradition of terror by discussing moments in children's movies and TV that were flat out horrifying. From bloodthirsty bunnies to a mysterious stranger with a knack for obliterating clay people, join us as we take a journey down nightmare lane.

This week's PWU really harkens back to the PZ85 days of old - out of control, offensive, and unpredictable. That's thanks to our guest, CCW's Farmer Billy Hills, who joins us to talk about Goldberg's return, TNA's financial woes, Paige, and more. Billy also goes off the rails as he attacks literally everyone, including his own stablemates!

This week Jesse Kimball is joined by Mandy Kennedy, Dalton Anthony, Asa Gray, and Lindsey Wolfgong to talk about The Wolverine, Overwatch, Harry Potter, Pokemon, and more!  Little to no anger on this one, but plenty of excitement over a few announcements that have come in the last week.

PZ85 Sports is all about the fighting sports tonight, covering both boxing and MMA! Cody opens the podcast by celebrating the NHL's return and further updates the Tyson Fury news in light of his British boxing suspension and vacating of the WBA and WBO heavyweight titles. The conversation then shifts to the UFC, where Jose Aldo is wanting to retire, Julianna Pena is upset that she is being overlooked for a title shot, and how both problems could be avoided if Dana White and the UFC properly handled divisional rankings. Conor McGregor's recent comments about his fine levied by the Nevada State Athletic Commission wrap up the show, with Cody getting on the soapbox for the most recent time to hash out a few things with McGregor and Dana White. We also give our thoughts on No Mercy, and find out what Randy Orton segment almost broke Mr. 100.

Villainous month continues on PZ85! This week, Mr. 100, the Five Star Man, and Ally talk about their favorite movie villains. From witch doctors to monsters of all sizes, and lots of Kevin Spacey, we count down our top five. FIVE!?!

PZ85 Sports is a couple of days late... because reasons! Cody apologizes as he presents the latest episode (in both senses of the phrase) of the podcast, full of revisited topics from last week! Tiger Woods is returning to PGA competition, Tyson Fury's life is spiraling out of control, David Stern now approves of sports betting in the US. The episode concludes with a discussion on Jonathan Jones' Sports Illustrated article/letter to San Diego Chargers QB Philip Rivers, asking him to demand a trade and move to a contending team.
