NXT Takeover: The End just wrapped up, and it was another homerun for the fledgling brand! We give our thoughts on all the excitement, including the epic Nakamura/Aries match and a fantastic main event that saw Joe defend against Balor in a cage! Plus - Brock Lesnar is confirmed to fight at UFC 200, just weeks before Summerslam, and what will that mean for his WWE career? Is CM Punk about to make his UFC debut? Tanner is BACK on the air and finally reveals why he has been gone for so long. And, in one of the most important episode of PZ85 to date, the gang decimate convicted rapist Brock Turner and question why a guilty monster received six months for ruining a life, as well as sharing some intense personal stories of abuse. In the lighter half of the show, Asa inquires about Tanner's love of horror films - their appeal, the genres, and the difference between a horror film and a scary movie. Also - fan feedback!

PZ85 Sports discusses some hot-button issues this week, starting with minority hiring rules in the major North American sports: Are the rules working and what changes, if any, need to be made? Cody also talks about the recent scandals involving the NFL trying to meddle in concussion studies and the NHL's attempt to keep documents in their current lawsuit with former players from seeing the light of day. 

Split show tonight - our first half deals with the tragedy surrounding the death of endangered gorilla Harambe at the Cincinnati Zoo, and in the second part of the evening we talk about the nature of voice acting along with our favorite TV shows adapted from film. This week's top story - Jimmy Snuka is found incompetent to stand trial for the murder of Nancy Argentino. We cover all the court proceedings and discuss Snuka's legacy in the wake of his legal trouble. The PWU gang also talks about Cena's return on RAW and his confrontation with the Club, how some wrestlers and fans have unfairly condemned the epic Ricochet/Ospreay showdown, Cody Rhodes' list, Goldberg, WWE 2k17, NXT: The End, and we give our thoughts on the upcoming main roster split.

This week on Nerd Up Jesse is joined by Mandy Kennedy, Asa Gray, and Seanan Young to talk about the recent Captain America reveal in comics, Netflix's new deal with Disney, and a discussion on the merits and faults of Battleborn and Overwatch.  The gang is surprisingly split on this one and there's a lot of arguments for and against both games.
