The WWE addressed the Roman Reigns suspension in a big way on Monday, and the PWU staff each had their own issue with the way they did. This week we discuss it, as well Dean Ambrose's hellacious schedule since winning the title, Kurt Angle heading back to WWE, AJ Styles, Vader vs. Ospreay, PWG's Battle of LA, and so much more! Plus - Ally learns the legend of the Titty Master!

A midday revelation about family and murder leads the gang into dark waters as they ponder whether or not our bloodline decides the kind of person we become, and then dive into the crippling effects of depression that two of the crew deal with daily. We also celebrate the one year anniversary of the legalization of gay marriage, talk Fallout Boy, and answer some fan questions!

Nerd Up

This week Jesse is joined by Asa Gray, Lindsey Wolfgong, and a special guest to talk about Ed Boon's aggressive approach to DLC for Injustice 2, Overwatch news, more evidence towards Nintendo's new console being cartridge based, Deadpool 2, and Negasonic Teenage Warhead.

PZ85 Sports tackles a few topics it wishes it didn't have to this week, but ends the show on a positive note! Cody discusses the Art Briles/Baylor settlement, the failures of the coach and the institution, and the controversy surrounding Briles' "promised apology" to one of the Baylor sexual assault victims. Johnny Manziel's lawyer "accidentally" texted the Associated Press about his client's potential plea deal over his domestic violence charge, so that saga continues. Finally, the show continues with a brief discussion of the NBA Finals and the NBA Draft before closing with Las Vegas NHL and NHL Draft discussion!

Our Pokémon love continues this week, and we tackle an obvious topic that we amazingly haven't touched in the 15 months we've been operational - our favorite Pokémon of all time! Join Seanán, Ethan, Jesse, and Lindsey as they reveal their picks. Spoiler alert - NO ONE PICKED MR. MIME. The Thursday gang also talk about the newly released Ghostbusters remix by Fallout Boy and Missy Elliot, and as usual, the internet has already said more than we will ever need to.

The PWU gang is back to give their thoughts on a week full of big news in the world of professional wrestling. What does Roman Reigns wellness policy violation mean for the Battleground main event, as well as his prospects as a top payer? What did we think of Money in the Bank and the crowning of a new WWE champion? Why is Jerry Lawler sharing a spot in sudden obscurity with Hulk Hogan? We answer all of these questions and more! Also - Smackdown goes live July 19th with the return of the draft, and we've got all the current info, including the recently leaked new PPV schedule!

Now that e3 week is over, it's back to basics! For us, basics include - anger, hopelessness, and confusion! Marvel at our bafflement over gun laws in the US after Orlando's tragedy! Be enchanted by our hatred for the bigots and morons who are paid to care about you and I but really don't! Be amused at our lighthearted conversation about Michael Jackson's alleged 2003 raid of Neverland Ranch that produced stacks upon stacks of damning evidence never used against him! Why is Scott Baio opening his about Obama on Fox News? And be there when our own Ally asks the age old question - did George Foreman do anything before making grills?

Nerd Up

This week on Nerd Up Jesse is joined by Mandy Kennedy, Lindsey Wolfgong, and a returning old cast member that doesn't want his name mentioned anywhere.  In this super packed episode, the crew discusses Battleborn microtransactions, Overwatch competitive mode, Donald Glover in Spider Man, the future of South Park, DC Rebirth, and the PZ85 Pokemon gym leader challenge.  We hope you have as much fun listening to this one as we did recording it.

It's the E3 2016 edition of PZ85 Sports! Cody is joined by special guest Dalton (Yes, the same Dalton whose retirement tour ended on this show less than two months ago) to discuss a little bit of real sports and a lot of sports gaming! The guys talk about Game 6 of the NBA Finals and the legacy of LeBron James, as well as the art of throwing mouthpieces.

The second half the show is dedicated to the Madden and FIFA 17 announcements, as well as the best (or favorite) sports games of all-time from us and the listeners of PZ85 Sports! Finally, Cody and Dalton discuss the best era of sports gaming; if you know Cody at all, his choice will not surprise you.

Plus - we go over some of the e3 news we missed on Tuesday's show, and we make things awkward with our own trainer battle intros!

e3 week continues, and Dalton returns for this special episode of PWU! The gang gives their insights and opinions into this Sunday's Money in the Bank PPV, talk about TNA's recent financial and technical woes that almost put them down permanently, the cruiserweight invitational, and reveal some e3 news about WWE 2k17 and reveal their favorite/least favorite wrestling games of all time. Nerd Up e3 part one

This week on Nerd Up Jesse is joined by Asa, Mandy, and Stephanie to talk about Volition's new title, Injustice 2 and other DC news, Destiny Lords of Iron, and a rapid-fire of what we've got from e3 as of Sunday night.  Also, stay tuned for the rest of this week as we celebrate e3 on the Podzilla 1985 network!

This week's episode of PZ85 Sports contains a variety of emotions due to the wide range of topics. Cody opens the show with a continuation of his opening remarks from last week's show concerning the passing of Muhammad Ali; he also discusses the passing of "Mr. Hockey," Gordie Howe. The podcast continues with "A Tale of Two Journalists," a conversation about Ariel Helwani vs UFC and Emily Austen's inflammatory comments on Barstool Sports, and more!

Brock Turner's 6 month sentence looks to be even smaller, and the gang can't quite grasp the continued mockery of justice. However, our main topic tonight is a discussion about video game film adaptations in the wake of Friday's Warcraft release. We talk about the good, the bad, the ugly, and eventually it breaks down into a baffling discussion of old computer games that Seanán has never heard of.

NXT Takeover: The End just wrapped up, and it was another homerun for the fledgling brand! We give our thoughts on all the excitement, including the epic Nakamura/Aries match and a fantastic main event that saw Joe defend against Balor in a cage! Plus - Brock Lesnar is confirmed to fight at UFC 200, just weeks before Summerslam, and what will that mean for his WWE career? Is CM Punk about to make his UFC debut? Could AJ Styles hold his own on the mic against John Cena on RAW? We answer all this and more on tonight's show!

Tanner is BACK on the air and finally reveals why he has been gone for so long. And, in one of the most important episode of PZ85 to date, the gang decimate convicted rapist Brock Turner and question why a guilty monster received six months for ruining a life, as well as sharing some intense personal stories of abuse. In the lighter half of the show, Asa inquires about Tanner's love of horror films - their appeal, the genres, and the difference between a horror film and a scary movie. Also - fan feedback!
